Hosteria Las Quintas

The property is clean and well kept, but I don’t understand all the very high ratings. The rooms are just okay, and the pools are small and get crowded quickly. I also found the valet parking frustrating: staff seem to expect a tip every time they bring your car, even when you’re a guest going out for breakfast or dinner elsewhere. Noise was a problem during my Christmas stay. People were making noise from their balconies after 1:30 a.m., and I could often hear neighbors, including drunk guests slamming doors, phone alarms, noisy kids, and moms shouting. Towels were an issue too. There were three of us but we got only two sets. I wonder if the front desk is telling housekeeping how many guests are staying, even after you call the first time to ask for three sets.

The food and brunch at the hotel were fabulous, and the rooms were extremely clean. Great service, too. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it.

A really nice place if you’re looking for a rest. The staff were very kind, and the hotel was clean. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful, which makes this such a shame, but my wife and I came home from our weekend stay covered in bedbugs. So many of them. It’s disgusting, and it always crosses my mind when sheets are pulled so tight that housekeeping might not bother stripping the whole bed. Don’t stay here, you’ll regret it.
