Hotel Boutique Pedregal

The thing I’d suggest is airing out the rooms before guests arrive, since ours had a musty smell. Still, my wife and I were very happy with our stay and the atmosphere of Coatepec made it even better. The hotel doesn’t have parking, but the street out front was quiet and we had no trouble leaving the car there. Breakfast came with our stay and was better than we expected, with homemade flavors, fruit, eggs, and delicious bread from Coatepec. The rooms are a good size, the Wi-Fi worked well, and there was hot water. Service was great too, everyone on staff was friendly and attentive.

The staff could be better with customer service, and the Wi-Fi was weak in ground-floor room 2. It’s a quiet hotel close to the center, and the double room rate was 2,000 pesos with an American-style breakfast included. I found the breakfast portions small, especially the scrambled eggs with ham and beans. I think there are better places to choose from.

The included breakfast was delicious: eggs with ham, American coffee, juice, and tortillas, though I didn’t order the juice. The hotel is quiet and the staff were friendly. It’s clean, and check-in was quick. There’s air conditioning, a TV, a bench, and a wardrobe in the room. The location is handy, close to a bus stop and restaurants. I recommend paying in cash.
