MO17 Hotel Boutique

The hotel's style and location are lovely, and I'd probably come back despite the problems. Check-in dragged on, though. The clerk was friendly but couldn't sort out the Wi-Fi password or explain basics like the AC and TV, which weren't easy to figure out. We also had no bathroom soap for a couple of days and had to use shampoo until it was replaced. Housekeeping could have been better.

The room was in poor shape: dim lighting, a dirty shower, and a bathroom with no privacy. The safe was shut with its alarm ringing, and staff said they had no idea what to do because it had never happened before. We asked to move, but were told no rooms were available even though the place seemed empty. When we got back late, the alarm was still sounding, and it carried on all night. There wasn't anyone at reception at either check-in or checkout. We called with no answer and found out staff were at the bar. They seemed not to care, offering lousy answers with a big smile.

The room itself was decent, but the shower and tub need maintenance and weren't good. Also, despite what the website says, there's no parking lot here, so you have to find a public spot or pay to park elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend staying, and I won't be back.

Breakfast in the courtyard was hard to beat, and the staff were warm and attentive. Everything is within walking distance from this lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street. Clean, upscale, and close to it all.
