The setting inside the gates feels like being in a garden all the time, and the three pools are nice. The place is pretty local, but for me the whole stay was a mixed bag. On a weekday, I wouldn't pay much more than maybe 60-70 USD. It fills up on weekends, so prices go much higher. Getting around online can be annoying. There are several Wi-Fi networks with the same key instead of repeaters, so your phone may lose the connection as you move around and you'll have to join a different network. Internet service itself is usable, but my phone couldn't connect consistently. Some rooms had loose light fixtures or bulbs without fixtures. The included breakfast fell short of what was promised and could be pretty unspectacular. For an American breakfast, I expect fruit or juice, pastry or toast, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns or beans, and coffee. The decor looks like the late seventies or early eighties, in both colors and patterns. Some built-in seat backs had eye holes drilled into them and were strapped in. It wasn't impressive. The restaurant is romantic and pretty, but the food was unspectacular. At around 10 USD for an entree without a drink, I'd rather go to Sanborns or VIPS down the street. Or head either way along the street and look for a small local place with five or six people there during off hours, or a full room between 1-3 pm. Places may be empty at the times Americans usually eat, of course. The gym equipment is a cruel joke. The machines are cheap to begin with and entirely useless, meaning they don't work. If they fixed these problems, I'd change my review.
