Hotel Boutique Casa de Campo

We spent a couple of nights visiting Cuernavaca, and this was just right for my husband and me. The hotel was comfortable and cute, the staff were great, and I’d definitely stay again. The WiFi in the rooms was poor, and it was hit or miss outside them too. It didn’t bother us much, though. When I needed a stronger connection, I went to one of the two courtyards, which were beautiful.

The location is excellent and the place looks very nice, but the room had a strong, cheap fragrance that I found annoying. It might be meant to make things smell fresh, but the odor got onto all my belongings and stayed with them after I left. Noise carries clearly between rooms too, so you can hear what other guests are doing, which gets uncomfortable.

The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was good. It’s a nice, centrally located hotel, though its big hacienda layout means you can hear people walking past. I also noticed a slight smell from the bathroom sink.

The common areas are gorgeous, and the peacocks are stunning. The food is good, but the waiters weren’t prepared to handle so many people. Rooms are nice, though really expensive. There are too few facilities for people with disabilities. My grandpa is 96, and even getting him into the lobby was really difficult.
