We'd been having a great time, but then the woman at the lanchas wouldn't let us take a boat from another restaurant unless we paid an extra charge. Paradise's own boats weren't available. We returned a cubeta of beers and left early. After spending so much on their food and drinks, that treatment was disgusting.
The food was acceptable, but bugs were a real problem. I got so many bites I couldn't sleep. They know about the bugs, and there used to be repellent dispensers in the bathrooms, but now those are gone and they only sell lotion. The hard techno from the 2000s was obnoxious at 11am, too. Then they charged my credit card in USD without asking. That means an extra processing fee for them or their card company, and a much higher cost for me. Nothing redeeming about this beach club.
A good spot to spend time with friends or family, with a couple of pools and boat access. Parking is among the best in the area. The prices are a little higher than at nearby places.
The food and the view are amazing, and the place itself is really cool. It does feel more public than private, though. Still, I love it!
