Hotel Villa del Conquistador

I booked a room online for my brother and his caregiver, and the staff treated him horribly when he arrived. They kicked him out in the middle of the night, kept his belongings, and left him on the street without money or his things. His caregiver lost track of him after staff put him out, and he wandered the streets until the caregiver found him a few hours later. When the caregiver returned to the hotel the next morning, staff had gone through my brother’s things and taken his laptop and the cash from his backpack. They didn’t refund me as promised, and more than a week later no one has resolved the issue. My family and I feel he was discriminated against. We had the money for him and his caregiver to stay there. This hotel took advantage of the situation and mistreated someone with special needs. They are thieves.

The restaurant has a spectacular city view and live music while you eat. I went for the buffet breakfast and found lots of choices, including unusual dishes, different fruits and juices, freshly baked bread, Mexican food with a twist, and vegetarian options. The food was very good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Even with a buffet, a waiter served us, and the service exceeded my expectations.

The terraces are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the customer service is excellent. There’s live music every morning at breakfast, and the rooms are clean. I’d definitely stay again. My only reason for giving four instead of five stars is that the rooms need some remodeling and updating.

The location was excellent, and the service and prices were great. Our large room had two beds and cable TV, and room service food was just as fresh as food in the restaurant. The pool and other amenities were kept clean every day and were close to the rooms. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with live music at both meals that made for a romantic atmosphere. We’ll return next year to celebrate our 25 anniversary.
