The staff were friendly and the place had a good feel to it, so it worked well as a base for Cuetzalan. The tour to the xoxotic nursery was a letdown, though, and I wouldn't do it again.

We were able to get our questions answered within a few hours after contacting the hotel by email through its website form. The room, a Quetzales, was clean and comfortable, though there was a bathroom leak that we reported and they still haven't fixed. The hotel itself is quiet and clean, with helpful service around the clock. Its roof terrace looks down over the streets and the parroquia of san francisco when the fog clears, and there's also a peaceful, nicely decorated courtyard inside. It's on Hidalgo street, just a block from the main plaza, and the price was cheaper than nearby hotels. All in all, good value for a clean place with good service.

The bathroom was barely functional, and the place itself is very basic. At least it's in a good spot in town.

The rooms are comfortable and low-cost, and internet access is free.

It's a decent place to stay, though a little expensive.
