Hotel Francis

It has Wi-Fi, cable TV, parking, and air conditioning, and the place is clean. The only downside is noise from other rooms. I know that’s on the other guests, not the hotel. I recommend it, and I’d stay again.

I came with my dad yesterday for work. The receptionist started out nice, then became really rude and arrogant, with a hateful look. I wanted to add another night, but she said the room wasn’t ready. I went out for breakfast, and when I got back she refused to return my 200 peso deposit, saying I’d used a bed she hadn’t assigned me. They and the cleaning staff had searched our belongings, and they’d left the bed they said I used alone. She took my 200 pesos, and after all that I didn’t want to stay another night. The staff are thieves, and the receptionist’s attitude was awful. She even tried to grab my phone and laughed at me. I’d never go back, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel under any circumstances.

The view over Culiacán was amazing, especially the beautiful cathedral, which I could practically see well enough to take pictures of and remember. I also had fabulous video calls with my family because the Wi-Fi was free, very fast, and didn’t drop like it does at other hotels. The flat-screen TVs have Cablevisión, and the new mini-split AC worked well. There’s private parking, the staff are very nice, and the cleanliness was impeccable. It felt like home. The rooms are small, but there’s enough space to rest and a desk for work. It’s a business hotel, meant for going back to after work. Since it’s right beside other rooms, people may hear you if you spend time with someone there, haha. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a good place. Being new gives it an advantage over others nearby: it looks nice, clean, and pleasant.
