Hotel Meson del Refugio

We were looked after from booking through checkout. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the terrace was lovely. It’s in a great spot, and I’d definitely stay again. Thanks for being so hospitable.

The terrace has a great view, and the location is ideal. The manager was especially friendly and kept checking that we had what we needed, from the time we booked until checkout. The rest of the staff were warm too.

The terrace was a highlight, with its lovely view, lighting, and breeze. The town center is only a few minutes away, and there are plenty of food stalls nearby, so I’d rate it 10 out of 10. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the water stayed hot. Everyone was warm and welcoming. The receptionist was very kind and attentive, and her son, Quetzal, did a lot to help us feel at ease. We had a fantastic stay and will be back.

The stairs are narrow and awkward, so I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have trouble walking. Parking is also far away, and the price isn’t exactly cheap. We couldn’t use the terraces when we arrived because access was restricted. The water heater hadn’t been turned on, and despite asking, we had to shower in cold water; they said we were the only guests there. Before 11:00 AM they were already asking us to leave, then searched every corner of the room, which made us uncomfortable, like they thought we might steal something. It’s a nice, comfortable hotel with clean rooms, pretty decor, and an excellent location, but I don’t think I’ll return.
