Wyndham Executivo Culiacan

We held our daughter's baptism party in one of the hotel's party rooms, and the hotel staff stayed with us throughout. They even brought out sample dishes for the event, with the chefs explaining each one. The party went really well, thanks to their excellent service. The rooms were excellent too, and so was the service. Great hotel in Culiacán.

With around 80 people at our meeting, the lack of air conditioning became a real problem. The restaurant had none, the room's A/C was weak, and turning on a second unit made no difference. After an hour, people started leaving. We got no meaningful response from the hotel's GM, Victor Casillas. Twenty-two hours after the event, a sales representative called to say he was too busy to speak with us, and the hotel wouldn't reimburse the room or offer anything to make up for the experience. We were told nothing could be done. They also asked why we hadn't left if it was so bad, since we'd stayed for four hours. What were we meant to do with more than 80 people, go out into the street? A disappointed customer should be offered something, even a future discount, a free room, an upgrade, breakfast, parking, a drink, or a bottle of water. This isn't the kind of hospitality I expect from Wyndham Hotel International.

The location is the main drawback. The hotel sits in central culiacan on a boulevard with heavy traffic. It was renovated and changed administration a couple of years ago, and the facilities are good. The staff is friendly, the food is tasty and good quality, and the bedding is comfortable.

A really good price, great location, and amazing customer service. I love staying here. I'd give it 4 out of 5 because the shower water usually gets warm but not properly hot.
