Zar Culiacan

The rooms are very basic, with an old acrylic shower that has cracks in the floor, no refrigerator or microwave, and no cups or glasses. We got one towel and no hand towels. There was just one outlet, across the room from the bed. The internet only worked in the lobby, there was no ice, and no restaurant nearby. For people with disabilities, there's a ramp to the entrance, but then an 8” step at the door. They also charged a pet fee for our service dog. This property was a big disappointment. Hopefully the Zar in Los Mochis is still the place we always liked.

The location is unusual, but it gives you easy access into and out of the city for 911 issues 🙃 The airport is only 7 minutes away. It's a clean, friendly place, and the coffee is always ready right at 7am.

My motorcycle broke down as I was entering Culiacan, and the wecker left it in the parking lot. Without us even asking, the staff helped lift the bike into a pickup truck. Two thumbs up for them! Absolutely amazing staff.

The rooms were super old, with stains all over the sheets, a dirty bathroom, and cracks all over the walls and paint. The bathroom was worse still, with black tar coming out of the sink, and the AC was horrible. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm very disappointed and won't stay here again. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you have kids.
