Hotel Posada del Centro

The location is great, close to the zocalo, shops, and bars. But even for one night, I wouldn’t recommend staying here. The customer service sucks, rooms aren’t clean, and some don’t have the basics you need, like a shower. In some rooms you have to share with others, with only two showers and no private changing area. People don’t communicate clearly and tend to say one thing, then change the hotel rules. You don’t feel welcome or like you can enjoy yourself. It’s not worth the money for one person or a family, especially when they ask for extra money for everything.

A couple of blocks from El Centro, the hotel is peaceful and quiet at night. I don’t think the location could be better. No guests or alcohol are allowed, which helps keep it calm. Parking is a block away, but since I was on a motorcycle they let me park in a courtyard so the moto was safe. The lady who runs the hotel and all her staff are absolute sweethearts, very helpful with anything you need. The cleaning girls do a fantastic job keeping everything spotless every day. I highly recommend it to travelers and adventurers!

I needed a room at short notice, and they were wonderful. Room 21 was quiet and comfortable for my five-night stay. I was recovering from long travel days and being ill, and the hotel made it easy to rest and heal. I appreciated the stay so much. I never usually write reviews.

The staff were very nice, and the room was clean and spacious. The location is great. The shared toilets could have been cleaned more often, though. Breakfast is served outside the rooms, so mornings can be noisy. Earplugs are a good idea!
