Hotel San Miguel

The pool was clean and pleasantly warm. The hotel itself needs a major renovation, though, and some parts are roped off with yellow tape because they're falling apart. It was clean, but still felt dangerous, and the doors were moldy.

We only sat down for beers and snacks, but they told us to leave unless we ordered at least one dish per person. So we went to the bar across the street to keep drinking and eat there instead. The restaurant service was terrible: they were slow, didn't greet us, and didn't attend to us properly.

We were welcomed warmly from the moment we arrived, and the staff were really friendly. The food was delicious too. A great place to vacation and relax, I highly recommend it.

I had a terrible experience and won't be back. The manager or owner, a young guy around 25 to 30, overweight and with a beard, was rude and inattentive. The shower barely had any water, so sand wouldn't even rinse off. The bathrooms by the pool were filthy and the pool wasn't clean. The casino fans spun without moving any air. They also wanted a deposit for towels and the remote, said we could leave whenever since it wasn't busy, then insisted checkout was at 12 and kept part of the deposit. I absolutely don't recommend this place. SAN RAFAEL is better, they treat you well there and it's clean!
