El Relicario

We chose it for the secure parking, and the garage has three levels, so there’s no need to hunt for a space. It’s also very close to the Plaza (centro), with lots of shops and restaurants you can reach on foot. The staff were friendly, and we’ll definitely come back. I’d recommend it to everyone.

We booked this place for the pool because of our baby, but it was so dirty that we had to wait for someone to clean it before we could use it, and checkout meant we never got the chance. The room was clean, though the bathroom wasn’t very nice, and it felt too expensive for the room’s size. There’s a hotel on the next block for a better price. We won’t be back.

For an overnight stay, this is good value and I’d book again. Breakfast is included, there’s indoor parking, and the staff were excellent. The room was clean, with reliable fast Wi-Fi, a good TV, hot water, and decent towels. It was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve booked, but the bed was comfortable. They provided one bottle of water. Ask for a room away from the street if you want quiet.

The price is better than what competitors offer, and the room itself is a good size. The mattress was on the firm side, though, and the sheets felt rough, almost like canvas rather than soft or silky. There was no bath mat, and only two bath towels, with no hand towels or washcloths. I can’t speak for the other rooms, but mine had a morgue-like smell. I may update this review later.
