Hotel Ana Isabel

The room was clean, but the stay was rough. We were told only a suite was available, then found room #22 was a small room with two beds, an attached bathroom, and an AC unit mounted very high on the wall. It was hot despite the rain, and we had no remote to control the air conditioner. The shower was worse. Both hot water valves gave us hot water, and the only way we managed to get cooler water was to keep it running until the tiny heater outside our door ran out. The sink did have cold water. Each time we opened a hot tap, a blue and orange pump on the heater plumbing made a loud whining noise. It woke us early when someone nearby showered. At checkout, we were told the suite differed from a regular room because it had AC, which apparently needed a remote we hadn't been given. We got some money back because of the obvious mismatch.
