From your deck there’s a spectacular hillside view, and you can hear birds and howler monkeys. The owners are great and the staff are friendly. Our screen had a hole in it, but they fixed it within an hour. The pool is good, if a little leafy, and the food is great. WiFi is only available in the main reception area, not in the room, but it’s reliable and fast. Ask about the tour with Gabriel!

The owners were the best, super friendly and helpful. Since we don’t speak Spanish, they even offered to call our next hotel to get directions. Our room was large and cleaned every day, with an amazing view of the jungle hills. Breakfast had plenty of choices, and there are some good dinner spots within walking distance, though having a car is better. We didn’t want to walk in the dark. This was the best hotel we stayed at in Mexico, and the price was good.

It was only a quick overnight stop while I was crossing the country, but I’d try to find a way to come back. I arrived late in the rain and was welcomed by a lovely receptionist. We didn’t speak each other’s languages perfectly, but he was great. The room was good, and in the morning I opened the curtains to an amazing view, with one side of the hotel facing the jungle. I had my best breakfast in Mexico while watching the mist lift over the jungle canopy.

Motorbike riders will feel especially at home here. The hosts, Zhenia and Felipe, ride too and treated us like family. The rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the pool and scenery were beautiful. It’s great value and in an excellent spot, just 2km from Palenque ruins. A little piece of Paradise in Palenque!
