Being in an old Mexican town meant plenty of walking, so I was glad I upgraded to a room with more space for my four-day stay. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the pillows were okay. The bathroom was cramped, but the toilet and shower did the job. There was a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, safe, large flat-screen TV, and a small fridge. A little dresser would have helped, though it wasn't a big problem. The maids cleaned early and did a thorough job, and the staff were really friendly. I only had breakfast at the restaurant once, and they could use a lot of help there. The hotel is a two-minute walk from the Zócalo, shops, and restaurants. The price is fair, and I’d stay again on my next trip to Taxco. Just keep your expectations in line with a hotel in a small old town, not a Best Western in a big city.

Everything was within a few minutes on foot, including the main sights, and the staff were friendly and attentive. My room was comfortable and clean. I’d recommend staying here if you want to get around town on foot and still be comfortable.

After coming to Taxco for 25 years, I’ve found my new regular spot. This boutique hotel is modern and lovely, right in the heart of town. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff fantastic, and the location great. Thanks!

It’s far enough from the Zocalo area that the noise wasn’t too bad, but still close enough to get there easily.
