I booked and paid for a superior room with a king bed, but got a tiny room with a double instead. The paint was peeling, as was the leather on the only chair. I asked to move rooms, and they said they couldn’t move me.

The hotel breakfast was excellent, though I was disappointed by the restaurant food. Rooms are clean and updated, with modern amenities, plenty of storage, a comfortable bed, and a good view. The curved smart TV and personal HVAC were especially good, and the bathroom was clean with a spacious shower. There’s a gym, it’s family friendly, and room service is available. A restaurant next door delivers. The location is convenient, near a few shopping areas, and staff were attentive and answered all my questions. I’d stay again.

Parking and location were good, and I liked that they kept changing the free flavored water throughout the day, cucumber and other flavors. They’re renovating, and the name has just changed. The noise and the awkward little chair or recliner bothered me, though. I might give the place a chance.

4/10
It wasn’t especially clean, though at least there were no cockroaches, which was all I asked for. The TV and heat didn’t work. Housekeeping did a good job, apart from some hairs left in the sink. I might possibly come back.

10/10
The people were very friendly, the price was great, and the location was wonderful. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. I’d come back when I’m in Morelia. I’d rate the hotel 4.5, taking a little off because the hot water wasn’t very hot and there were no USB ports in the room.
