Hotel & Spa Mansion solis by HOTSSON

I felt so cared for throughout the day. The staff brought great energy and were truly present the whole time, and everything was planned so thoughtfully. The massage and spa experience was the best I’ve ever had. I’d highly recommend it.

I was excited to bring my family to Mansion Solis during our trip to Morelia Mich., hoping for a great experience. It turned into a bitter-sweet stay. The room was ready before check-in when we arrived on September 15th, which was a plus, but things went wrong after that. It was the night before Mexican Independence Day, and they were holding a Mexican night celebration. The restaurant and bar were only available to hotel guests with a reservation for that night, and I thought that was odd since nobody had told me when I booked. They also hadn’t mentioned that the pool was being remodeled. We went to the celebration after the receptionist said she’d made a reservation for us, but our names weren’t on the guest list. The woman at the door spoke with the staff, who tried to fit us in on the terrace, but we would have had to share a table with two other people. My husband and I decided to leave instead. We went to Macazaga Cava & Grill, where the food was delicious and the customer service was great. We’d never return to Mansion Solis. It’s overpriced, doesn’t prioritize its guests, and I wouldn’t recommend it at all.

We came for a really pleasant café visit. My partner had job applicants to interview, so we ordered coffee and got started. They were welcoming, with great coffee and smoothie choices.

The room assignment, the wait for an extra rollaway bed, and the restaurant service all left my family and me feeling overlooked and unwelcome. We also felt treated with suspicion, as though we were being accused of doing something wrong. I explained these specific concerns in response to Mr. Estrada, because I worry my original feedback was misunderstood. Clear communication and more attentive service could make a real difference for future guests. We chose Hotel Mansion Solis for a special occasion. The facilities looked nice and the atmosphere felt upscale, but the receptionist and manager were consistently rude. From arrival to checkout, the receptionist seemed cold, made faces, and acted as if our presence was a bother. With prices this high and such luxurious amenities, that lack of professionalism really hurt the stay. I hope Hotel Mansion Solis addresses the staff training and hospitality issues. Until then, I can't recommend it.
