The location was the main reason we picked this place, but the way they handled reservations, including ones we’d already paid for, was deeply disrespectful. We were meant to stay August 1st to 3rd. On the day we arrived, they canceled several rooms we’d reserved well ahead of time so they could take a larger group instead. Such a shame.

Our foreign trainers were left out in the cold, even though the booking had been made well in advance. We have proof from our supervisor. The reservation wasn’t under my name, which is why we could reply to the hotel’s comment. We’d arranged this for guests coming from abroad, and on the day of the booking, they canceled at noon. It was really uncomfortable having to hunt for another hotel while our guests were already arriving at the Morelia airport. They should admit the mistake instead of washing their hands of it.

They raised the price on the spot and didn’t follow through on what they’d told us. Even after checking us in, they came into our room without permission and tried to move us because it had already been booked by someone else. The hosts, or whoever handles arrangements, gave terrible service and don’t honor reservations. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend staying here. Save yourself the frustration.
