Casa Inn Premium Hotel Queretaro

I had a great stay here and would recommend it. The water pressure was strong, and you can adjust the water from hot to cool or cold. There was an AC thermostat, though I didn’t try the heating and can’t say if it works. It looked clean, and they have what you need: a gym, pool, sauna, and laundry service. They also had great movies on TV. It feels very luxurious and updated, except for the beds. One was a little ripped, and there were small stains on the sheets. Also, keep your voice down, since you can hear people in the room across from you.

The front desk was prompt and the customer service was nice. Rooms were clean and neat, and breakfast had a good variety. Gaby was very kind, offering coffee and anything we wanted. I’d come back to this hotel.

After a very long day of travel, I checked in last night. As others have said, “the system” wasn’t working, but the receptionist gave me a room key and said I could pay later. There was no hot water last night or this morning. After working out in the gym, which has one machine and very few free weights, my room key stopped working. I asked to change rooms because the walls are thin and the man next door was snoring very loudly. Two receptionists said they’d leave a note, so I was going to see tonight if they could move me. Breakfast at the restaurant was good. The pool and hot tub were cold. I couldn’t tell whether the sauna worked, though to be fair I didn’t go in. It’s not a bad or dingy hotel, but it’s not among the nicer places I’ve stayed in QRO either. Update: I changed rooms and have hot water now. The restaurant is good, though English is sparse. It’s been a nice stay. The whirlpool is still cold, but the gym has enough for a workout. I’m changing my rating from 3 stars to 4.

Updated review: Avoid this hotel. This was my second stay, and the last. If you want working AC, nice rooms, or a good gym, don’t come here. It’s kind of my own fault for coming back, since I thought I’d give it another chance. To be fair, the staff were nice. My earlier review: The AC in my room didn’t work and had to be fixed while I was there. Breakfast seemed clearly aimed at locals, with little for American or European tastes. The hotel is right next to a highway, and the gym is small. There’s a nice looking little pool, but I never use hotel pools for sanitary reasons, so I can’t comment on it. It was okay, but no more than that.
