It was the staff's kindness that made our stay at Piedra de Agua in Palenque so memorable. Every one of them went out of their way to make things better for us and left a real impression. The hotel and room were also consistently tidy. The resort's position in the jungle, surrounded by greenery and birds, with the rare howler monkey around, already makes for an unforgettable setting. We would definitely recommend Agua de Piedra to anyone thinking of traveling to Palenque. Five stars!

The jungle setting is beautiful, and it's impressive that the hotel is right in the middle of it. The staff were mixed: some were nice and friendly, but a few receptionists didn't speak English at all. That doesn't change the overall impression of a neglected place. The rooms look as if they haven't been painted or renovated since ancient Mayan times. Walls are moldy, plaster is crumbling, bathroom drains are clogged, and the bed linen is dirty. The whole hotel looks extremely neglected and disgusting.

Annie, the manager, was friendly and accommodating, and both the staff and breakfast were great. This hotel was absolutely wonderful. If you're coming to Palenque, you must stay here!

We booked this last minute while driving from Frontera Corezal to Palenque, and it was a great price. The jungle setting made it feel like an adventure, with huts spaced along lit paths and a hammock on the porch. Inside, everything was modern and sparkly clean, the AC was cold, the WIFI was fast, and check-in was easy. The king bed was big and comfortable, and the shower was huge and beautiful. There's a long, luxurious pool and a hot tub nearby. Don't miss this place!

A wonderful boutique hotel with secure parking on site. The staff were excellent and attentive, and we really enjoyed breakfast on our private terrace and using the outdoor spa tub on our deck. The beds and linens were excellent too. They don't offer dinner. Highly recommended.
