Las Palmas Tropicales Beachfront Rentals

We'd come back anytime. It's a beautiful oceanfront property with a private beach, and the owners were very hospitable. The homes are right by a place that will wash and fold your laundry, and just five minutes away are some amazing local taco spots. Great location between Los Cabo and La Poz. You won't regret staying here, 10/10.

I read earlier today on Google that this place had an RV park, so I called Chelsea from Los Barriles to ask about full hookups, the price, and other details. Then I headed over. The drive was miles of narrow, overgrown, uneven road until I couldn't get any farther with my RV. I walked the rest of the way and found Chelsea, explaining I was stuck about 200 feet away. That's when she told me the RV part of their business wasn't on the water or where we were. Why hadn't she mentioned that during my call three hours earlier? She said, “I thought you would call when you got here,” as if it were my fault for not calling a second time. Why would I call once I was already there? Maybe she should have told me to call again. Do most guests have to call multiple times before arriving? We then spent half an hour backing out and getting back to the highway. No apology, no acknowledgment that she should have mentioned it. What a nightmare. Avoid.

My casita was clean, nicely kept, and had everything I needed. At night, the sound of the Pacific waves lulled me to sleep. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and answered my questions and requests almost right away, so I felt right at home. It's in a quiet oceanfront neighborhood, with a short path down to the sparsely populated San Pedrito beach, a lovely place to catch Baja sunsets. Looking forward to my next escape to Las Palmas Tropicales. Thank you Wendy and Bobby!

When we arrived, nobody was there to let us into the rooms because the hosts had gone to dinner. Other guests showed us the rooms that were supposedly oceanfront, but they were actually in the second row. The rooms weren't ready and seemed far too expensive. When we cancelled, the owner was rude and showed no regret. Stay away.
