Robert was a great host, always just a text away and happy to help with things like arranging pizza delivery or finding foil for fish on the BBQ. He gave us space, too. The beach gear was another big plus: folding chairs, umbrellas, a soft-top surfboard, and boogie boards. Those are hard to bring along when you book a VRBO or ABNB, so we really appreciated having them there. We came as eight and had the whole east side of the building. The four kids took the main floor, while the adults used the top and bottom floors. Another couple was staying in the Penthouse, but we never felt crowded. The setup worked perfectly for our group. The pool was fantastic. We ended up using the hot tub every day, especially in the cooler evenings after swimming in the ocean at sunset. For surfers, it would be great after a morning session, too. The surf was under a meter during our stay, so the kids could swim while we watched the whales go by at sunset. If the surf were bigger, they'd have needed to use the pool instead. That happy-face flag over the place really fits. We left smiling. You might find a fancier place inland for less money, but the location right on San Pedrito beach, with the surf break out front, is hard to beat for the price. If you want somewhere on the Baja away from the big-city bustle, this is a great choice. Thanks, Robert. We'll be back.
