Ocean Oasis Hotel

Such a peaceful, quiet micro resort, and meticulously maintained. Laura made us healthy breakfasts and delicious dinners. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and made us feel like family. It’s a true oasis, though a bit out of the way, and well worth it.

We went for adventure with a short walk down the beach to eat fresh fish at Aqua Blanca, or a taxi into Puerto Escondido for dolphin boat tours, massages, shopping, surfing, fishing, and whatever else you fancy. But Ocean Oasis is also a wonderful place to switch off, relax, walk the beautiful white sandy beaches, and cool off in the hotel pool. My wife and I spent a week at this peaceful, private place last March and completely loved the secluded paradise. Curt and Traci were fantastic hosts, and Johanna and Christen prepared delicious meals and took care of all our needs. The service was impeccable. Rooms were clean and comfortable with great showers, and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The days were reliably sunny and 85 degrees, and nights brought endless stars. Views were spectacular, sunsets outstanding, the hotel was spotless, and the food was great. It’s a hidden gem on the Oaxacan coast, ideal for people who want a quiet vacation but can still socialize. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return.

Johanna’s cooking was a highlight: every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Christian was wonderful too, always attentive and making sure we had what we needed. Traci and Curt welcomed our family warmly and made us feel at home. We loved the secluded, pristine setting. There were no crowds or noise, just stunning ocean views and a chance to truly relax. Having the beach to ourselves felt like a rare luxury. Ocean Oasis was an unforgettable stay, and we can’t wait to come back. This hidden gem is tucked into a serene, secluded area, with the beach just a two-minute walk away. It’s a very rustic spot, but Puerto Escondido, with tons of shops and restaurants, is only a 30-minute drive. We’ve just returned from a family vacation and really enjoyed it.
