After more than 10 days, I still haven't heard back about the refund they said they'd discuss the next day. I've tried contacting them, but no luck. They called later and offered to let me use the night I'd reserved at a different time. I declined and asked for my money back. I had booked through their website and arrived after check-in time, but the confirmation email didn't clearly state when check-in ended. Nobody was there to help or let me into the room, and nobody answered the phone number they'd provided. Someone from the neighboring winery eventually connected me with an employee, who said he was two hours away and that arriving on time was my responsibility. I was left without a room or any assistance, and had to find somewhere else at a much higher last-minute price. It was a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I'd urge others to think about these issues before booking.

The grounds are great, and the place is quirky and reasonably priced. Small issues: the bar closes at 11, but noise carries on until midnight. I waited 10 minutes for hot water and still couldn't get any.

The winery and restaurant right outside the room were nice, and there was a heater in the room. That's why I'm giving it two stars. The place has potential, but I wouldn't stay in the rooms again. This was a last-minute trip for me and a friend, and one of our few options. It wasn't a good experience and wasn't worth what we paid. The couch was heavily stained, and the carpet looked unclean, with all kinds of stains. We expected working WiFi, since it was listed on the website, but the password on the paper in the room didn't work. There was no hot water either. We tried the provided WhatsApp number, but nobody answered. We wanted to go into the city at night, but were told the front gates close around midnight. We tried to get a number to call when we came back so we wouldn't be locked out, but couldn't reach anyone.

There was noise from the neighboring rooms, and the beds had only one small sheet. The sofa was filthy, there were giant spiders in the rooms, and the bathrooms had neither hot water nor soap. Service was terrible, with hardly any staff available to help guests.
