San Angel felt like a dream, tucked just beyond the busier downtown area. Reuben, who manages the beautiful and secure property, was a delight. We could leave the car in the gated parking area, and the hotel felt worth every penny. Make time for breakfast, the omelette azetca is so, so good!

The breakfast was very good: I had the spinach omelette and my son chose pancakes. The rooms are nicely kept, and the TV is a good size with their Netflix account available. It’s a lovely little hotel, and the staff are friendly. You can WhatsApp them with questions. There’s private parking across the street if you want it, though I parked right outside the hotel without any trouble. A 24-hour farmacia is about a block and a half away. I’d stay again.

The music event was worthwhile, and the garden setting made it a beautiful place to be. Service was good, though a little slow, probably because more people came than expected. Martin, the manager, was an excellent host.

Marco looked after us with friendly, timely service and knew the menu well. The Angus filet mignon was outstanding, and the tequila drink paired with it was one of the best I’ve ever had. A five-star, even five-diamond, dining experience.
