At $60, this little hotel was good value, though I wouldn't call it a three-star place. The rooms were clean and there was hot water, but no A/C. We were lucky not to need it. The malecon is two streets away.

Sexy spot, and safe, but the rooms are garbage, even if you're only there for a night or 30 minutes.

The rooms are decent, but ours was close to the laundry room and we couldn't sleep. At 11 pm the employees were talking and laughing loudly; it happened again at 6 am. We could hear them through the night too, though they weren't as loud then.

We paid $60 for a big room with three beds, which was a great deal. It was clean, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot, and the Wi-Fi was fairly decent. The location is handy too, with local food and nightlife within walking distance. The staff don't speak English, but that really wasn't an issue.

Clean and good value, but my first-floor room was between the office and laundry area, so staff walked past talking noisily in the evening and through the night. The office store also had a poor selection of drinks.
