La Rosas Hotel & Spa

The scenery is still beautiful, but that isn't enough to balance out how many things went wrong on our latest visit. My family and I had stayed here many times before and always found the atmosphere welcoming, with friendly, attentive staff. This time was the complete opposite, and we won't stay here again. I'd strongly suggest looking at other accommodations, such as Airbnb. We waited over an hour for our rooms because housekeeping hadn't finished. Once we finally got in, there was leftover food and clumps of hair in the corners. Then we were delayed again because a room key hadn't been found. We were also told there'd be an extra fee because our small dog had briefly been in one room for less than five minutes. The woman spoke to my young sister with an attitude about it. When my older sister went up and confronted them about the charge, they took it back. The service has clearly declined. I don't blame the employees themselves; they looked overworked and underpaid. There were only a handful of servers and one bartender expected to serve dozens of guests. The pool was overcrowded, apparently with non-guests able to come in freely, and no staff ever came over to take our drink order while we were there. We were charged multiple unexpected fees despite staying just one night, and now have to dispute them with our bank. It's unfortunate to see how far the hotel has declined.

The service is great, and they really take care of you. We extended our stay by a day and will definitely come back. There are a gym, restaurant, sauna, massage room, and lots of space for pictures. The interior is as beautiful as the exterior, making it a great spot for a wedding, honeymoon, or much-needed vacation. Our wraparound patio had breathtaking views, and there was a jacuzzi in the room as well as one next to the pool. There's plenty of room to lounge in the sun by the Infinity pool, which seems to sit above the ocean. Ensenada is ten minutes away, with lots of shops and restaurants. Cheers! 🍻

It's an older place, but the view is amazing, and we had the best service in the restaurant.

This place doesn't have a family atmosphere and isn't suitable for children. Anyone can get into the pool, and the same goes for the jacuzzi. During my stay I had to be in the jacuzzi and watch people come in with glasses or tumblers of alcoholic drinks and radios playing obscene music. When I complained about the drinking and all the bad words in the music, they threatened us, saying Ivan was going to take off their clothes, and they were even peeing. The manager did nothing at the time. The people who come in there are very low class. If you don't smoke, don't go: the manager told me smoking was allowed in the jacuzzi, and it was unbearable with five people smoking while children were inside.
