Hotel Capri Playa

The best thing here is the location, just two blocks from the beach. I would only stay if there were no other hotels available, as happened to me. The place badly needs maintenance: my entrance door kept sticking and wouldn't open, and the bathroom was dirty and covered in mold. My room was on the top floor, and with no elevator, I had to carry a huge, heavy suitcase upstairs without any help.

I wouldn't recommend this place. The room and bathroom were filthy, with stained sheets, dirty towels, a bathroom bin overflowing when we arrived, a dirty floor, and a terrible sewage smell when showering. One sheet even had blood on it. There was mold all over the bathroom ceiling, and the ceiling in the so-called kitchen looked ready to collapse. Pigeons live on the hotel roof, and their droppings were in the pool. The bathroom has no window, the mini-fridge is completely rusted, the TV doesn't work, and even the basic channels are blocked. There's little privacy or security, since people look in when you open your room door. They supposedly send the towels and sheets to the dry cleaners, but leave them on the floor. The receptionist seemed to hate her job, got very stressed, and wasn't friendly. The parking lot was like a dump, and the streets were filthy. Hot water runs out if the person next door showers first, so you have to wait. Changing rooms costs another 200 pesos, even when the new room is the same or worse, and getting a refund takes even longer. It's awful, a 10 out of 10.

I have never had such a horrible hotel experience. The bathrooms were disgusting and full of mold, the beds were dirty, and the sheets were itchy. The staff were incredibly rude, and there was no soap, toilet paper, or hot water. The facilities are very old and smelled damp. The parking situation was a hassle too: there's only one key, so every time you leave you have to fetch it and return it afterward. You even have to bring your towels to reception yourself. I would never come back.

The receptionist was really rude, and the pool was small and dirty. Our room was cramped and dirty too, and it wasn't cleaned properly. I don't recommend this hotel. The one across the street is cleaner and more spacious, even though it doesn't have a pool.
