Posada El Rey Sol Hotel

The rooms weren’t the best, but they were perfectly fine for me. The location is awesome, the staff were great, and breakfast was good too, probably one of the better free breakfasts around. I’d stay again if I’m going to Ensenada.

We love this hotel and its great location, but the plumbing needs attention. In Room 111, the bathroom faucet was loose and wobbly, the shower head fell off, and the bidet didn’t work. The plumbing is old and worn out. Please update it, and I’ll give a five-star rating on our next visit.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect a decent stay. There was no hot water for a shower, so I didn’t shower at all during my one-night stay. The hotel was sort of clean, though there may have been mold in the bathroom. The TV didn’t work, the outlets did, and the toilet kept making flushing noises all night. Several things in the room were breaking down, and the iron burned my shirt. I spoke with hotel management, but their response made no sense. They said they had turned down the hot water, but they had turned it off. They were turning it back on when I left. I asked for reimbursement and they refused. Be warned if you’re staying here.

The breakfast was really good, and the hotel is close to everything. My only gripe was the super hard pillows. I’ll bring my own next time, lol.
