The location gets noisy, and the hotel is very basic. Everything in my room worked, though some other guests had no hot water or, in some cases, no running water.

We loved staying here, especially after the fuss of Cancun and Tulum. The dogs barking in the street at 4am when a neighbor came home late were a bit much, though. We could leave our luggage in the car because the hotel parking is secure and behind a gate. The manager was really nice and pointed us to dinner at a lovely, quiet place outdoors. I can’t remember its name, but the young chef was very talented and the prices were cheap. Our room was clean and nicely furnished, with good water pressure and hot showers.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to move rooms after noticing a problem with the first one, and they were happy to switch us. The shower was hot!

You get good value here, and there was hot water. The rooms were clean enough, though there was trash on top of a shelf that probably only a tall person would notice.
