The rooftop bar and dining area are cozy and affordable. Rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, and the customer service was great. A great place to stay when you're in town.

The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless, and the service was great. I'd recommend this hotel.

The room was clean, the bathroom was nice, and the AC worked well. Breakfast was good, and the staff were lovely both when I checked in and in the morning. Sound carries through the rooms, though. I could hear traffic and, even more, what was happening in the hall. Still, I managed to sleep until 9.30am.

The rooms are modern and clean, and breakfast was delicious. The towels were pretty worn, but that wasn't the main problem. A couple of the women at the front desk were unhelpful. One refused to call a restaurant across the street to book us a dinner table, even after we typed the request into a translator to make sure she understood. She just said, “We don't make reservations.” Non-Spanish speakers, good luck. A few hours later, during a power outage, the manager kindly let us charge our phones in the lobby. He was unhappy to hear how his employee had responded while she was standing around with nothing else to do. The storm hit in the early evening, and although we expected power to return within 2-3 hours, it never came back. There wasn't a single room outlet connected to the generator, no fans, and not even the guest Wi-Fi routers were on it. The room became hot and stuffy. With the window open, traffic kept us awake through a sweaty, sleepless night. After nearly 10 hours without electricity, we checked out at 4 am and asked the second woman at the desk for two bottles of water. The hotel tap water isn't drinkable. She said they'd cost 50 pesos. My husband asked if we could have some water free after a whole night without power, and she agreed, but without any kindness. The hotel had saved hundreds of dollars by not running the AC units on the generator. They didn't check on guests or offer water during the outage, which they should have done. The restaurant staff were absolutely lovely, but the women working up front didn't show that same graciousness. We won't be back. There are plenty of kind people in this town who deserve our business.
