The hosts are helpful and answer all your questions. The place is nice and comfortable, and downtown Guadalajara’s points of interest are within walking distance. There’s no air conditioning, though.

We went three days without sleep and two days without food before contacting the platform as a last resort. We needed help getting out of this property and somewhere safe. The guest next door couldn’t cancel, so the hosts offered her another room away from the kitchen and rodents. She clearly went through this awful situation too. Two rats crawled onto my foot from the kitchen, and the whole property flooded. One rat came from the refrigerator and the other from the cupboard, ruining all our food. We couldn’t save any of it. The pipes are old, and the bathroom drains don’t work properly. We asked the host directly for a refund of just the remaining nights so we could move somewhere safer. She said she wouldn’t refund us because the platform’s long-stay policy protected her and there was nothing to refund. We’d tried to avoid hurting her reputation on the platform or in reviews, but she refused to refund the unused nights, saying she had “fumigated” and telling us, “NOW YOU’LL FIND THE RAT DEAD.” I apologize on behalf of the rat. They said the rats weren’t their responsibility and were out of their hands. They wouldn’t fix the problem or refund us because they’d already spent the money on what they clearly had to do, whether it was us or not, since the rats were already there. They offered us 248 pesos. These hosts know nothing about hospitality or professional service. There are many other options around here. Don’t choose this place, even if you’re desperate.
