The location is handy, near La Gran Plaza shopping mall and some good restaurants. The staff were all wonderful, friendly, and quick and pleasant at the front desk. Our room was clean and serviced each day. The rooms feel old, though. The installations are outdated, the showers don’t work properly, and the mattresses are worn and uneven. The restaurant food was really bad and tasteless. I wouldn’t eat there or pay for breakfast, with so many restaurants nearby. I can’t recommend the hotel anymore.

The location is central and pretty quiet. My first-floor room was just okay, and parking costs extra.

It wasn’t a good experience. Parking costs extra, unlike at other Holiday Inns. Around noon we tried to get something to eat, but they only offered expensive meals, with no basic breakfast or even coffee. The waitress was rude and took a long time to get our order, then another waiter replaced her without any explanation.

After having a baby, I was really excited for my first trip, but we waited more than three hours for the room we’d booked months earlier. The lobby was hot and smelled strongly of paint from the renovations, and nobody offered water, an update, or any basic courtesy while we waited. The staff were dismissive and unhelpful. When we finally got a room, it was a downgrade, with no real apology. They also charged us for breakfast even though it was meant to be included. IHG Guest Relations offered points but wouldn’t refund us, which didn’t come close to making up for the stress and poor service. A really disappointing stay at a hotel I expected to be reliable.

The people were friendly and everything else was fine, but the room had no mini bar and the ice maker on the floor didn’t work. I had to go downstairs for ice each time. The TV was useless too, with only a couple of channels and no YouTube or way to connect my phone.
