They make the chocolate thick, and there’s always a good vegan cake and muffins, plus some homemade preserves. The service is good and the place feels very cozy. The chocolate is good quality and comes ready to drink with water or milk, as well as in bars and small tablets. You can get it sweet, semisweet, with 70% cacao and 30% piloncillo, or bitter, with 100% cacao. There’s also fermented chocolate and a cardamom version, which is the best.
It’s very clean and well maintained, with all the amenities, and surprisingly quiet even though it’s practically in the center. A very pleasant place and quite possibly the best hostel option in the city. In a word, excellent!
It’s close to everything, and a lovely place to stay: very clean and inexpensive. An excellent accommodation option!
