Hotel Guadalajara Country Club by HNF

The front desk team was great, and the room was clean and decent, though nothing special. I wouldn't make this my first choice for the experience, but I'd consider it to save money. The gym was disappointing: the AC didn't work, there was only an elliptical, bikes, and dumbbells, no treadmill, and the weight machine was out of order. One shower tile was a little loose and squeezed water out from the middle of the floor.

The staff were really friendly, and the location worked well, with plenty of food options across the road. I slept very comfortably, which was the best part of the stay. The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, though it seemed a bit better than at other Marriott properties in Guadalajara. As a Platinum member, I was disappointed not to get an upgrade even with suites available. The room wasn't well maintained, the AC was very noisy, and basic items like a toothbrush, vanity kit, and slippers were missing. Luckily, I hardly used the AC.

Don't be fooled by the price. Every room I encountered smelled like mold, the AC didn't work, and the curtains let in all the light. This is the worst Marriott property I've stayed at. If zero stars were an option, I'd give it that.

The service was outstanding, especially from the front desk team, the GM, and ivan at restaurant. They were kind and attentive. The location in the business area is very good too. I had an excellent experience and recommend it.
