The staff are nice, but there's only so much they can do. The area is okay, though I'd suggest staying further west. The elevator is slow, and there were several room problems: the door wouldn't lock each day, and towels and sheets were missing or had stains that didn't look clean. Avoid this hotel if you can.

The location is excellent, and the staff are really friendly. There's a restaurant for an extra cost, and as of January 2025 the woman serving breakfast was incredibly attentive. We checked out and accidentally left a phone and headphones in the room. The very kind cleaning lady noticed and let us know right away so we could get them back. We did have trouble with the water because there wasn't any hot water, but reception helped quickly when we contacted them. Also, on our first day, the bathroom had been used even though it was sealed. Highly recommended.

The breakfasts at the restaurant were delicious, good quality, and generous, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. I'd definitely come back. The one unpleasant thing was that the room pillows smelled greasy, which made me wonder if they had been cleaned. Everything else was clean, so hopefully it was an isolated incident.

We spent two nights here and got friendly, professional service from everyone. The rooms were very clean, the beds comfortable, and there was a TV and hot water in the bathroom. The location in Guadalajara's historic center is excellent: there's a Soriana supermarket across the street, a Farmacias Similares pharmacy, and an Oxxo convenience store and other businesses less than 100 meters away. The hotel also has a restaurant. I'd definitely stay again if I return with my family.
