Woooow!!! Great service, and the receptionist is really friendly and professional.

The internet was so poor it was practically unusable for work. We only stayed two nights and put up with the other problems, but I’d consider changing rooms for a longer visit. Room 102, where my partner and I stayed, had a persistent damp or other unpleasant smell, perhaps from the bathroom pipes. It became noticeable on the second day, after the room had been cleaned with the window closed and the air conditioning off. The odor was unbearable. The window barely opened, and street noise and smells also came into the room. A year ago I stayed at Hotel Six and rated it highly because the location was convenient and the staff were friendly and accommodating. This visit fell short. For a longer stay, I’d look at other options because of the odor, noise, and very poor internet.

We had a great shower, one of the best I’ve used, and that made the stay worthwhile for me. The hotel was pretty good for the price, with excellent walkability and restaurants nearby. But there was plenty of noise from the street and other guests, and the wifi was basically unusable. They also added a fee at arrival that hadn’t been mentioned, which is never fun.

There’s a nice terrace on the 4th floor, and the location is decent, within walking distance of much of downtown and not too far from the historic district. The front desk staff don’t speak English. My 4th-floor wifi was among the slowest I’ve experienced, and it kept disconnecting. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable for me. I’d also paid for a suite with a jacuzzi, but its button didn’t work.
