The room I was first given had a toilet that was literally taken apart and unusable. I waited four hours for the cleaner to come and get another room ready. Then there was no water for the next two days, so I left and moved somewhere better. I requested a full refund through Booking, but since the day I left the owner has dodged calls and emails and hasn't replied in three months. The property was a mess and in poor shape. They advertise it as if it's good, take your money, then disappear when you ask for a refund. Scam.

I booked an apartment after arriving in Guadalajara, but couldn't get into the building or reach the host to check in. With no help and no way inside, we had to find somewhere else to stay. They never compensated us either. The customer service was as bad as it gets.

The place itself and the service are SPECTACULAR. The customer support process, though, needs to work much better. There's no direct contact for quickly sorting out problems, and check in is confusing. A reservation number doesn't help, and they should explain the steps and the six hour response time more clearly so guests can plan.

The room was fine, and the location in Chapultepec is excellent, but the area is extremely loud and the windows aren't soundproof. Getting access was complicated too. They require pre registration and IDs plus biometric data through an app, then take a long time to approve entry. They also charge up to $1,500 for possible damage and supposedly refund it later. I definitely wouldn't return.
