Villa Ganz Boutique Hotel

Villa Ganz is one of those rare places that becomes part of the trip itself, like a guesthouse in Entebbe, a ryokan in Kyoto, or a bed and breakfast in Quindío. Yvonne, Leo, Carlos, Rocío, Luis, Ana Carolina, and Marcos gave the hotel an understated, intimate elegance that made our four days in Guadalajara unforgettable. The front desk team were gracious and quick to help throughout, and their local tips were generous. Our room was spotless and well kept, with a comfortable bed and crisp, fine linens. Breakfast was an easy few steps away in the dining room, where we lingered over what may have been the best eggs Benedict we’ve ever had. Luis’s burrata, asparagus, and short ribs that evening were just as memorable. Villa Ganz would be at the top of my reasons to return to Guadalajara. Viva VG!

We were close to so many good bars, restaurants, and shops, and loved spending time eating or relaxing in the bar and lounge. The hotel was beautifully designed and carefully thought out, and the staff were great at arranging anything we wanted outside the property. Armando has built an incredible team. They made us feel like we were staying at our best friends’ house, and by the end we knew each of them personally. We can’t wait to come back.

Luis, the chef, made the meals a highlight with delicious special dishes and such attentive service. Carlos and the manager, Armando, welcomed us warmly when we arrived and showed us around the property. Villa Ganz blends rustic charm with modern elegance, and every corner feels thoughtfully put together. The whole team made the place feel comfortable and warm, like coming home instead of just checking into a hotel. We’re already looking forward to returning.

Villa Ganz is a small, quiet hotel, with beautiful patios and very clean rooms and linens. It felt cosy and comfortable, like being at home. The staff were AMAZING. Armando, Ivan, and Carlos were the people we saw most each day, and Luis, one of the assistant chefs, was great too. The restaurant food was sooo good. We’ve traveled around Mexico quite a bit, and this was the BEST staff we’ve met so far. We’d definitely come back and recommend it. Muchas gracias, muchachos, nos trataron de lo mejor!
