Hugo made our two nights at Alma del Sol great, with homemade, authentic Mexican breakfasts and lots of helpful tips on places to visit, especially restaurants. The B&B is close to the main spots, and our room was clean with an extremely comfortable bed. It’s a historic building, so a bit old, but my wife and I would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Guanajuato.

The breakfast was great, and it was nice getting to chat with other travelers staying at the hotel. The location is great too. Hugo speaks very good English and can tell you everything you want to know about where to go in the city.

The bed was really comfortable, and breakfast was outstanding. It’s a great B&B in a perfect location, and Hugo is an excellent host with plenty of information about the area.
