Antigua Trece Hotel Fusión & Spa

The terrace was beautiful, with a great city view, and we also appreciated the friendly staff, daily housekeeping, and valet service, which was always on time and accommodating despite the difficult street access. The hotel is comfortable, well kept, and in an excellent area. But several serious problems affected our stay. The A/C worked for only one day, even though it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. More than 6,000 pesos also went missing from our safe. We told the front desk right away. They said they’d investigate, but gave us conflicting information: a maintenance employee said he had entered our room with a manager and cleaning staff to check the A/C, while later we were told only housekeeping had been inside. There was no clear resolution about the missing money. Our room was also connected to another room and had poor soundproofing. We could clearly hear almost every kind of noise from the neighboring guests, which affected our comfort and privacy. We liked a lot about the hotel and think it could have been an excellent stay, but the unresolved missing money, A/C trouble, and noise had a major impact.

Hotel Fusion Antigua Trece The pool and outside terrace were lovely places to relax after exploring the city. The property felt warm and inviting, and the rooms were beautifully maintained. Service was friendly, attentive, and caring. Breakfast included pancakes, aka hotcakes, and after all the tacos and chilaquiles, they really hit the spot! 😋 The location is also hard to beat, just steps from Guanajuato’s charm and history. A wonderful mix of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality 💛

My husband and I had a great stay, and everything at the hotel was excellent. Guanajuato is lively and festive, so there was a lot of noise, though I understand that. What I found very unpleasant was seeing how poorly the manager treated his employees. I don’t tolerate that.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, with an excellent location close to everything in the center. The main issue for me was the poor sound insulation. I could easily hear other guests in the common areas and noise from outside, and it made sleeping difficult at times.
