The host was attentive and very kind, and there’s a park just around the corner. The room was huge, the beds were comfortable enough, and the neighborhood felt safe and central, about a 5 to 10 minute walk from the main tourist plaza. We walked around during the day and even at about 1 am without any trouble. There are cobblestone stairs to climb, so be careful if you’re carrying heavy luggage. I’d definitely stay again.

We paid cash when we arrived, as the hotel instructed. After we left the next day, they cancelled our Booking reservation, claimed we had never stayed, and charged our credit card as well. I contacted the owner, who seemed helpful at first, but blocked us after we asked for a receipt for the cash payment. We never got our money back. Really disappointing to have this happen. What a scam.

The rooms are cozy and would work well for a relaxing family trip. It’s a nice hotel with the basics covered, including cleaning, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. I’d recommend it.

It’s cozy rather than luxurious, with double beds that are still very comfortable. A lovely, homey hotel, and Juan and his wife made us feel very welcome with their good service.
