It’s a beautiful city, but staying here was awful because the neighbors’ dog barked loudly nonstop, day and night. We couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep. We bought earplugs for the next night and even those didn’t help. It may not be the hotel’s fault, but it’s hard to enjoy a holiday when you can’t rest.

The staff were so friendly and always willing to help us feel comfortable. Check-in was calm and easy, and the hotel was extremely clean. We had an amazing stay while visiting the state of Guanajuato in México at La Casona de Cantera Hotel. We’ll definitely stay there again on our next visit. 🇲🇽 🙂

The rooms only have the basics, but the shared spaces have been renovated and look nice. It’s an inexpensive, acceptable hotel, and the owners are helpful and kind.
