The hotel is right beside a shopping street, so it's easy to walk around Guanajuato's historic center. Staff were friendly, there are water dispensers on each floor, and I paid a little over $80 a night. The location also means a lot of noise. Several bars and nightclubs nearby stay open until 3-4 a.m., with music so loud that even earplugs didn't make it easy to fall asleep. The water pressure was very low, which made washing and showering inconvenient, and part of the shower head was broken.

G Adventures chose this hotel for our tour. It's clean, central, and very nice, with a safe, wardrobe, luggage rack, and elevator. There are two staircases leading to different sections, so watch where you're headed before climbing a few flights. There's no AC, but we had a ceiling fan and a booster floor fan. Our included breakfast was served a couple of blocks away at La Casonas Don Lucas. It was very affordable, and I'd stay here again.

The hotel is centrally located, and most attractions are an easy walk away. The only downsides for me were traffic noise and sound from a nearby cantina. Breakfast is free at a nearby hotel, with several options. Our room had a safe, comfortable beds, and extra pillows. It also came with hand towels, washcloths, toiletries, and a hair dryer. The shower had a grab bar and shelves for toiletries, and the hot and cold taps were clearly marked. Hot water took several minutes to arrive and only got warm. The sink never had hot water.

It's a basic hotel in zona centro, with no parking. You can stop to drop people off for a couple of minutes, but any longer and you risk a ticket or fine. Our room had two queen beds, one king bed, and two balconies. There are free water stations on each floor. The TV signal wasn't good, and the toiletries supplied for five people were limited.
