The central courtyard was a lovely quiet spot for the light but excellent breakfast, and there were plenty of comfortable shared spaces to read, relax, or enjoy the warmth of this lovely town. I felt safe and at ease as a woman traveling alone. Omar was a kind, caring host, and the building felt very secure. Villa Sueno Azul sits in a busy but pleasant local neighborhood, about a 10-15 walk into town. It's an easy, enjoyable walk, and I liked staying outside downtown. The Presa neighborhood was easy to reach on foot too. There was some street noise at night, though my room was comfortable.

Mali was INCREDIBLE, she knew the area so well and made me feel welcome and at home. The hotel was wonderful and reasonably priced. My front room faced the street, and the buses there could make it hard to sleep if you're a light sleeper. They stop around 10 pm and start again about 545 am, which is early for some. I'll definitely return and book an inside room next time.

Mali shared lots of helpful ideas for sights and restaurants. We had a delicious, filling continental breakfast, and the patio and breakfast courtyard were always clean and quiet. Our small room was comfortable, clean, and away from the street. WiFi never dropped out, and the shower was excellent with plenty of hot water. We spent a week at Villa Sueño Azul, and everything about the stay was excellent. We'd stay again without hesitation! Jim and Sally, Victoria, Canada

Mali, the innkeeper, was incredibly gracious and accommodating, and the rooms and common areas were cute and spotless. This lovely bed and breakfast is just a few minutes' walk from central Guanajuato. A great choice for a visit to this gorgeous city!
