The taxi drivers the hotel works with are prompt, polite, and professional, and there’s a fantastic steakhouse within walking distance. We love coming back each year when we visit our Hermosillo office from the States. Everyone at the hotel is friendly and accommodating, and Mario is our favorite. He always remembers us and what we like, and he’s lovely to chat with in English or Spanish. It’s perfect for business travel: quiet, with a peaceful pool where we can unwind after a long day. I can’t say enough good things about the hotel. We don’t stay anywhere else when we travel to Hermosillo.

Check-in and check-out were SUPER SLOW. The shower barely trickled, with ridiculously low pressure, and the WIFI was unusable. I found balls of chewing gum in the shower, and the Machaca at breakfast was horrible. Go somewhere else.

A horrible night. Loud music and conversations from next door kept us from sleeping. We called the staff around 4:00am, and they tried to do something, but the music stayed loud until 7:30am, when we had to check out.

There isn’t much within walking distance, but the nearby Palominos Rio steak restaurant was excellent, with good wine and tender steaks. The hotel was clean and the beds were comfortable. Like some hotels in Europe, you need to bring your own washcloths. I only used the hot tub because the pool was too chilly around 5:30 pm on Feb 15th. Coffee and cheesecake came to $15 on my credit card, which felt pricey, since I only had US dollars on me.
