For an overnight stop it was fine, though nothing special. Service and cleanliness were both average. We had a duplex, and the beds were a little too firm, but I still got some rest. I noticed the pool and it looked fun, but I didn’t use it. We left at 6am.

We needed somewhere for an unplanned one-night stay, and the double room was inexpensive, $600 mxn plus a $100 mxn deposit returned at checkout. The staff were nice, but the room and amenities were just okay. Shower water was unpredictable, although the pool was clean. It’s about what you’d expect from a two-star hotel, handy for a quick stop but I wouldn’t suggest a longer stay.

The room and hotel felt dated, and the morning noise from housekeeping was the last straw for me. At 7:00, a maid was slamming doors along the hallway even though checkout wasn’t until 12:00, making me want to leave early. The bigger problem was the graveyard shift office worker. Late in the evening, some clients came by and we needed about 30 minutes to sit and go over paperwork. He yelled at me for supposedly having extra people stay in my room, but nobody stayed there. We ignored him, went upstairs, and I escorted my guests out about 20 minutes later. He was rude to both me and them, and I won’t stay here again. It’s cheap, yes, and everything seems like an antique, but that customer service and the door slamming ruined it.

It was quiet and had a nice pool. The room came with bottled water, plus toast and cereal for breakfast. The sheets were clean and there were no bugs, but this is a very basic budget hotel that needs refurbishing. The pillows were lumpy, and I could feel the springs in the twin mattresses in our two rooms combined room.

The rooms weren’t very clean, and for the price I could find better hotels. Everything looked old and ugly. The wall AC outlet didn’t have a three-pin connector, so I couldn’t charge my laptop. The wall-mounted air conditioner was noisy, too. A single room should cost 300mxn a night.
